Noosa Accommodation

Resort PoolCamel Riding on Forty Mile BeachThe school holidays seem to be getting longer and longer, what to do with the kids before Christmas…….
The first few days with the kids are great until they start getting restless and follow you around saying they’re ‘bored’, 3 days down, 53 days to go. I need a plan of attack, some time away before Christmas will be great for the kids. They’ll be entertained and I get to relax before my panic levels kick in with organising the Christmas day feast for the extended family, did I mention 20 adults & 5 children for lunch, breathe!!!!!

I told the kids to pack their bags (meaning me), we were heading for an adventure full of fun activities, great food and a beautiful sandy beach to play on. Leaving the city air behind we drive 2 hours north to beautiful Noosa and arrive at Noosa Crest. What a great start, we are early but the room is ready so we dump our bags in our apartment and head down to the beach via the burger bar for a quick bite. The beach is pretty quiet, we have ample room to spread ourselves out and end up playing beach soccer and building amazing sand castles for hours.

We head back to the Resort to have some R & R in the afternoon, the apartment is huge and what a view, perfect for my bunch. For dinner we head out to the Reef Pub (across the road) and the kids found the play room which has play stations, face painting, movies and more so I got to enjoy a glass of wine or 2. The pub has a huge deck overlooking Laguna bay and Noosa so we all eat pizzas and ice cream for dinner and slowly make our way back to the apartment. The kids are so tired they virtually crawl to the bedrooms and I got to enjoy a movie in peace and some ‘me’ time, this is what I call a holiday.
