Holiday fun in the rain!

When we think of a beachside holiday in Noosa, we think of sunny days, light breezes and endless swims in the ocean. Whilst the entire team at Noosa Crest also want this to be your holiday reality, the truth is that it rains in Noosa, just like it does in every beachside town from Cairns to Coolangatta. The good news is that a stay in the spaciousness of Noosa Crest’s luxurious apartments during inclement weather isn’t an exercise in Human Tetris. In fact, a rainy day here simply adds to the justification of getting cosy on your comfortable Noosa Crest couch.

With two heated pools, spas and a sauna, there’s no reason to leave the swim gear at home with a wet looking forecast. For children, sitting in warm water while the rain drips down can be an enchanting experience. Once you’re dry, spend some time in your spacious apartment, put the phones and screens away and connect with your loved ones over a board or card game. Grab an umbrella and walk down the boardwalk for a little people watching under the cover of Aroma’s Parisienne awnings. Sip on a coffee or a cocktail before indulging in some retail therapy along Hastings St. With a mix of high-end boutiques, high street chain stores, surf retail and toy shops, there’s something for every member of the family to purchase as a reminder of Noosa.

Still not beach weather? Take a trip out to the Eumundi Markets or complete one of the hinterland walks. Check out a few of the local breweries or if you’re feeling really adventurous (and hungry) drive out to Kenliworth for a kilogram donut, a tour of the cheese factory or a walk through the insta-famous Booloumba Creek. Closer to home, just over the Hill from Noosa Crest is Noosa Junction with its Cinema, retail shops, restaurants and bars. And if you get back and the ocean’s still calling, just remember: the water never really dips below 20 degrees Celsius and in Spring, 23 degrees is normal. You certainly won’t freeze if there’s moisture falling from the sky!

Perhaps most importantly, with every apartment offering spectacular views over Laguna Bay, watching Mother Nature work her wet fingers over the ocean, toward the Hinterland and back is a magical few hours well spent in itself.

It does rain in Noosa occasionally, but it certainly won’t ruin your Noosa Crest holiday!
