Can you believe holidays are almost here?
Well, what a year so far! Time is flying by here in Noosa and it’s difficult to believe we are almost one month into Autumn. Not that anyone has told they weather that! Noosa is still hitting a steamy 30 degrees here most days, the streets are bustling with tourists in their swimmers, the ocean is a sparkling aqua blue and the evenings are still beautifully balmy. Noosa’s seemingly endless summer is enticing tourists from the far reaches of the globe to enjoy our pristine beaches, stunning National Park, tantalising restaurants and boutique shopping.
Noosa’s bursting event calendar is in full swing with early March bringing the Noosa Festival of Surfing , and coming up in May we have Ultraman Australia, Noosa International Food & Wine Festival, Noosa Ultimate Sports Festival and the Australian Body Art Festival! Have you booked in for these events yet?

What’s New in Noosa?
Have you tried some of Noosa’s newest restaurants? Betty’s Burgers opened late last year and is a massive hit with locals and tourists. Most burgers are only $10 and you can buy beer, wine, ciders and soft drinks. Be sure to try their famed ‘concrete’ and yummy mix ins while you’re there. We recommend the Pork Belly and Shroom burgers and a spiked concrete to top it off! Think we sound crazy? Check out Betty’s Burgers open 10am-10pm 7 days, at 2/50 Hastings Street and you’ll be hooked like we are!
Locale Noosa’s newest Italian restaurant opened just over a year ago now, but boy is it something special! Be sure to book a table for dinner as this stylish establishment books out fast, and for good reason! Open daily from 12 noon you can enjoy lunch, or their bar menu during the afternoon, or their amazing dinner and dessert options. With dishes like squid ink risotto with Mooloolaba king prawns seared cuttlefish, lemon and chilli, or milk-fed lamb fillet with red and yellow peppers, eggplant, crispy garlic and other delicious ingredients, it’s tough to choose what we liked the best! We recommend all of it! Located at 62 Hastings Street, Locale is a must try for all the foodie’s out there.
How good does Pilates or Yoga by the sea sound?! Well from April 4 Pilates by the Sea is introducing new SUP and kayak Yoga classes! If you attend the Feel Good Friday classes throughout March fees will be going to the Red Cross Vanuatu Disaster Relief Appeal to help the victims of Tropical Cyclone Pam, and donations from the April 10 class will be going to the Black Dog Institute for mental health awareness. Try and beat that for an awesome location for your morning yoga!
