Last night our resort team attended the unveiling of Tourism Noosa’s much anticipated Welcome to Noosa initiative. Together with 250 other Tourism Noosa members, we witnessed the beginning of a new era in customer service for Noosa. Wow!
In an effort to ensure that Noosa visitors are greeted with warmth, friendliness, enthusiasm and professional service, and to meet the expectations of todays’ discerning travellers in a competitive tourism environment, Tourism Noosa has now created an innovative tourism training initiative that aims to revitalise a quality service culture throughout the industry and boost Noosa’s reputation as a premier holiday destination.
Welcome to Noosa, is about not just meeting the expectations of our guests but exceeding them and proving to visitors that Noosa is a world class destination to visit again and again. The program is basically an easy-to-use online training program that helps Noosa’s customer service industry to build stronger businesses and deliver a memorable experience for visitors to Noosa and local customers alike.
We loved that Celebrity chef Pete Evans was the special guest at the launch and is the face of the campaign…a perfect ambassador. His whole life is about customer service and of course he loves Noosa and is a regular visitor here. What’s not to love!
