Is eating in the new dining out?

With the release and Noosa launch of super chef, Philip Johnson’s new book ‘Eating In’, us home cooks now have no excuse not to plate up and present the kind of food normally only enjoyed at an award winning restaurant.

Our resort team joined guests at Ricky’s River Bar + Restaurant last week for an indulgent afternoon on the river. We were totally spoilt with a dream menu from Philip’s book prepared by Ricky’s amazing kitchen team with a helping hand from Philip himself.

It was such a treat taking time out to sit back and enjoy an afternoon of beautiful food, wine, good conversation and gorgeous river views on one of those perfect Noosa winter days. This is Noosa at it’s best.

Here we are. Are you jealous?

Morning Coffee Ritual

I’m sitting down having my freshly brewed flat white made by lovely Kim at Sails restaurant and just had to share my morning view!!!! Its so beautiful on main beach, I feel like I have it all to myself today. I can see a few people swimming in Laguna Bay and some on boards paddling past. Must put that on the ‘to do’ list.

Noosa’s on the money

Boutique shopping on Hastings St

I don’t know about you but the perfect getaway for me is all about shopping, eating, drinking and lazing on the beach. With Hastings St now giving away money to visitors and locals alike, there’s really no excuse for me!

If I schedule in some retail therapy in Noosa before 31 August, most shops and restaurants on Hastings St will give me money – like my favourites: Vestario’s, Youth Culture and the very yummy Berardos on the Beach. All I need to do is spend $50 or more on clothes, shoes, lunch or whatever..and I”ll get an extra 5 Hastings St $. if I spend $100, I get 10 …. Happy shopping or what! No excuses needed. Perfect beach weather too!

Ooh Lala! This is what I call a room with a view

This is the latest & greatest renovated apartment at Noosa Crest with all the trimmings. I can definitely see myself on the balcony overlooking Laguna Bay with a glass of bubbles in hand and local gourmet goodies to eat!

This apartment has been beautifully refurbished, even has a spa bath that can comfortably fit 2. I love the sky blue couches and the fresh white colours, fits perfectly with the Noosa theme and the northern views are breathtaking.

Book me in!!!!
